Why subscribe?

My name is Brianna Pastor, a queer writer and author from the East Coast. I am writer, a reader, and an avid mental health advocate. I love to learn all things mental health, especially holistic and somatic therapies. Throughout my life journey, I have experienced multiple traumas in religion, near-death experiences, depression, anxiety/panic disorder, parental trauma, neglect, and more. While grappling with learning how to heal from each of these individual circumstances, I have come to learn who I am as a person—someone that wants to help others heal through their own journey.

What is BEING with Brianna?

BEING is my weekly newsletter where we do exact that—be. It means so many things, and is subjective to each individual, right? It could be learning how to just be in the present moment. How to be in this season of your life. How to be a better version of ourselves. Or, simply, how to just be human and come to terms with who we are.
